How many times have you tried to wire up a rotary switch only to find you have the wrong wire on the wrong terminal. It’s that mirror image problem. Well, we have taken the mystery out it.

A) No more soldering, so if you do get it wrong just unscrew the wire and put it into the correct terminal.

B) Each terminal is numbered from 1 to 12 and the commons A to D.

Just remember the switch rotates clockwise, so the numbering on the Printed Circuit Board is anticlockwise.

C) Changing of the circuit can be done without removing it from the Control Panel and without a soldering Iron.

The switch is available in 3 configurations:

RS110              1 Pole 12 way

RS112             2 Pole  6 way

RS116             4 Pole  3 way

Each switch used is break before make, this means the terminal 1 is disconnected before the switch reaches terminal 2 and so on. (I mention this because you can get make before break switches.)

Fixing Hole;                        9.5mm hole. There is also a 3mm locking stud hole which is shown on the template drawings ( if you don’t want to use this, you can cut it off.)

Indexing:                            30º indexing

You can download a drilling & label template on the website for each switch
