The Automatic Shuttle will work on any gauge, but only on DC systems.
The Train will stop at each end for an adjustable time from 5 seconds to 90 seconds, before reversing back to the other end. 
The Sequence is then continuous until the power is removed, so ideal for small straight layouts, or branch line section of a larger layout.
The AS303 controls the running plus waiting time for shuttling a train from one end to another. This is all done automatically. 
The waiting time at each end can be adjusted to between 10 seconds & 30 seconds minus the run time.
